I really like the idea of going to Landers and am open to going at any point. But I think I could probably use the trip more effectively later rather than sooner. So I don't mind going later in the year when it's cooler at all.
So Sharon, how do you feel about going later in the year? The notion of the desert in July is a little daunting but I am also excited about the possibility of the sound bath. I feel like as a whole, we might profit from a trip there after we have mulled over our exchange for a while longer, but as one of Flame's emails said, trying something different is often beneficial. Anyway, it looks like most (S?) are interested to go a little later. If that's the plan, I would like to continue meeting at the Foundation space as it makes for a sort of cohesion around the foundation as a place and it doesn't put the onus on someone to entertain in their home; although Sharon's pool sounds mighty inviting. So we can weigh in on that as we go.
ok i didn't see that Sharon had written under another string. I'll get used to this SOON I hope. Ah what a techno goober. Well, so we'll make it to landers in a couple of months and meet at SWF for July and then maybe go to sharon's for a swim?!
the sufi's say one way to expand conscienceness is to do things differently than you normally do, change your routine. maybe use the opposite hand for a day; when you hear hoofbeats think of a zebra; take different routes to your destinations; completely change your style; read books you've normally don't read, take a trip to the desert, etc ,etc.
Okay...I finally found, 'post a comment.' Hurrah!!! Whatever you want to do is fine with me. As the temperature rises, I wouldn't be surprised if July doesn't burst into 120 degree (flames)at Landers. What time is the July 15th, Sunday meeting, at SWF? I'll bring fruit.
SWF... our syncronacities -- i was talking with one of my students on saturday and she kept telling me that is SWF.. those are her initals.. so i was really loving that i got on here today and found this...
yes sunday the 15 at SWF sounds great..... ill bring drinks and dessert......

i was in palm springs yesterday and it was 106 degrees. too damn hot for me. i vote to go to landers when it's cooler.

It is going to be hot out there unless we stay the night there.....
I really want to make sure we are somewhat on treck (whatever that means) for the upcoming show....
I really did like having dinner and talking.. i thought we got so much accomplished.
I also am buying an ipod so I can record all the meeting and then give people cd's.....
